Morning Announcements for Monday, February 22, 2010 The following scholarships are due to Mrs. Koester by Friday February 26th: Virgil Cooper James Gorman Ira Hamman Lela Jeffery LaFarge March !st Scholarships Paulding County Hospital Seniors who plan to attend an Ohio College or University and pursue bioscience-related studies can apply for the BioOhio Annual Scholarship. The applications will only be available in the Guidance Office, not on the website. The deadline to turn these applications in to Mrs. Koester is Thursday March 18th. The West Central Ohio Safety Council Scholarship is available in the Guidance Office only, not on the website. Applications must be turned in to Mrs. Koester by Wednesday March 17th so they can arrive by the due date. A reminder for all baseball players that practice for pitchers and catchers begins on Today from 2:30-4:30.

The Seniors who have an interest in a radio or newscasting career need to see Mrs. Koester for information about the Ohio Center for Broadcasting. The ASVAB which was originally scheduled for Thursday February 11, has been cancelled. We will reschedule for a later date.

Tuesday, February 23rd is Group picture day and Senior Personality Picture Day. Students are asked to check over the schedule for pictures and be sure to meet in the gym on time for any pictures they are scheduled to be in. All high school teachers have a copy of the schedule for the day and schedules have been posted around the school. The Paulding High School Marching Band will be holding rehearsals for auxilaries starting Tuesday March 9th from 2:30 until 4:30. Anyone interested in joining should sign up in the office or talk to Mr. Chesman.

The ASVAB has been rescheduled for Thursday February 25th at 7:50am.
The Defiance High School will be hosting an event for high school girls to purchase a donated prom dress for $25.00 or less. The event will take place at the Defiance High School on Sat., March 6th from 12:00-4:00 p.m.
Please announce: Musical practice will be held today in Mrs. Smiley's room at 3:00.
Volleyball Open gym is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45-4 in Coach Kunesh's room.
The Masonic Grand Lodge of Ohio is offering a $1,000 scholarship and The Masonic Omega Lodge of Defiance is offering a $300 scholarship for a graduating senior. Applications will only be available in the Guidance Office. Turn in applications to Mrs. Koester by FRIDAY FEBRUARY 26.
